Food and service were excellent! The price was reasonable, staff were all super friendly, and everything that we ordered were delicious! My favorites were the spicy edamame, spicy crispy shrimp, and short ribs. I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant!

Tasty dishes, Large portions, Quick service. Decided to eat here before a Dodger game. Parked at union station, walked over. Dining room is plain. Lots of tables, tv on wall, pictures of popular dishes on wall. Friendly staff. Took leftovers to go and ate them at stadium. Black pepper beef was delicious and tender. Can't go wrong w orange chicken. Not heavily breaded!

I loved my experience at Golden Tree. Both the honey walnut shrimp and lemon chicken cutlet were so crispy and tender. Everything is also pretty affordable especially with the big portions! Inside was pretty spacious and very clean. Staff were also so nice and attentive even though it was late!

I was looking for Chinese food on my last night in LA, and Golden Tree popped up #1 in Chinatown on Yelp. Perfect, I was not far in Union Station. The restaurant itself and service are no frills yet gracious. And the food is fantastic! In fact, the Singaporean noodles are the best I've had--the divine alchemy of curry, egg, sweet onions, carrots, chicken and shrimp. While a small menu, the portions are large, and what comes out of the kitchen is delicious. A family, who came in for takeout, ended up eating in as recommended by one of the servers, and ordered a feast. I'm looking forward to a return visit hopefully to share with more people.

Great service. The garlic edamame was out of this world. Never had it served with a garlic sauce. Yumm Orange chicken was perfect. Crispy and flavorful, not too hot. Singapore noodles were served with shrimp and chicken also very good. Hot and sour soup was very hearty. Highly recommend this place. We left fat and happy

Was craving some Chinese food while in LA since it is harder to find where I live. This place delivered! We were 4 and ordered enough food for probably 8! Some of my favorites were the Honey Walnut Shrimp (must try), Orange Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein. We also got the Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Rice, Cripsy Garlic Eggplant, Crispy Shrimp Bok Choy Toast. All this for $100 with 3 sodas! The portions were huge so we obviously took about half home. The restaurant is very basic, hole in the wall style. Service was fine. We were starving and the food came out reasonably quickly. If you're just looking for good Chinese comfort food and not necessarily a nice night out, this is your place!

Well lit. Clean. I didn't actually dine in on this visit, I ordered to go. But based off of what I saw, I wouldn't mind coming back to dine in. The employees were nice and accommodating. My food came out very quickly and hot. It was still hot by the time I got home. I ordered the l Orange chicken and Yang Chow Fried Rice. I really enjoyed the fact that the chicken & beef were diced up, instead of in big chunks. The orange chicken was saucy and crispy. Next time I will go up on the spice level.
